Susie has a BA Hons in Paediatric nursing and a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. She has been qualified as a Nutritional Therapist for 9 years, and is an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner.
She worked in London at the Chelsea and Westminster High Dependency Unit and Paediatric Accident and Emergency Unit for many years, as well as undertaking overseas nursing work with NGOs in Africa and with Médecins Sans Frontières in Sri Lanka.
Susie’s background in paediatric nursing in London hospitals and overseas has given her a great passion to continue her work with children. Her work has a strong focus in supporting children and especially those with digestive issues, behavioural challenges and sensitivities. Susie aims to get to the root cause of the underlying inflammation and autoimmune response, assisting families living with Autism. ADHD, and other behavioural imbalances on the spectrum. Susie also works with hormone balance, mood disorder, depression, anxiety, skin conditions, supporting children with failure to thrive, as well as addressing emotional issues around food and eating disorders.
Susie is now certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine. Her insight into the complexity of autoimmune disorders, whether it may lead to thyroid, neurological, arthritic or digestive imbalances, compounded by our ever-increasing toxic load, drives Susie to find the root cause of your symptoms and through individualised dietary approach and testing to re-find balance.
Susie is married with three young children. She currently offers consultations in Wiltshire/Dorset and via Skype.
