Jo has a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy and trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
She has always had a passion for food, healthy eating and the workings of the human body, and after working in London for several years mainly in broadcast media, she felt it was time to turn her love into a qualification and future career. After three years of studying, she gained a diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition at the renowned CNM in London and has around eight years of clinical experience.
Passionate about the benefits of home-cooked food, and determined to find a solution for time poor families and those less able to cook, Jo is co-founder of Eight. Eight offers a range of nutritious frozen ready meals, all of which gluten-free, some of which dairy-free, and one vegan option, in a range of portions suitable for families of all sizes. Eight guarantees popular family meals such as fish pie, lasagne and chilli con carne which are bursting with flavour, boosted with extra nutritional goodies and on the table within 35 minutes. And barely any washing up.
She feels strongly that better education is the key to a foundation of healthy eating, in the midst of so many conflicting messages and constantly changing research. Her aim is to use her up-to-date knowledge to guide and support, with the ultimate goal of improving your health and vitality. Jo has a particular interest in women’s health issues, pre & post-natal health and baby & toddler nutrition.
Jo is married with three young children.
